1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SJU Luxe Travel website (sjuluxetravel.com) and all travel advisory services provided by SJU Luxe Travel. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

SJU Luxe Travel operates as an independent travel agent affiliated with NCM Concierge, headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We are a licensed travel agency (AV-166 Lic. 237) with additional registrations in Florida (Seller of Travel #ST15578), California (Seller of Travel #2090937-50), Washington (UBID #603189022), and Iowa (Registered Agency #1202).

2. Services We Provide

SJU Luxe Travel provides personalized travel planning, advisory, and booking services for international destinations. Our services include—but are not limited to—curated itinerary design, luxury accommodation bookings, cruise reservations, honeymoon planning, group travel coordination, wellness retreats, and destination management.

We act as an intermediary between you (the client) and third-party travel suppliers including hotels, resorts, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, and transportation providers. We do not own, operate, or control the travel services we recommend and are not responsible for the acts, omissions, defaults, or negligence of any travel supplier.

3. Bookings, Pricing & Payments

All travel bookings arranged through SJU Luxe Travel are subject to availability and final confirmation by the relevant travel supplier. Pricing is subject to change until a booking is fully confirmed and payment has been received. We will communicate all applicable pricing, deposits, and payment deadlines at the time of booking.

Planning fees charged for custom itinerary design and consultation services are non-refundable, as they compensate for the time, expertise, and resources invested in creating your personalized travel plan. Final payment terms and schedules will be outlined in your individual booking agreement.

4. Cancellations, Refunds & Travel Insurance

Cancellation and refund policies are determined by individual travel suppliers and vary depending on the type of service, destination, and timing of the cancellation. SJU Luxe Travel will assist with all cancellation requests and communicate applicable penalties, but we cannot guarantee refunds from third-party suppliers.

We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, travel delays, lost luggage, and other disruptions. Travel insurance provides an essential layer of financial protection and peace of mind for international travel.

5. Limitation of Liability

SJU Luxe Travel shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, damage, loss, delay, additional expense, or inconvenience caused by events beyond our direct control. This includes, but is not limited to, supplier cancellations, schedule changes, weather disruptions, natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, strikes, civil unrest, or any other force majeure event.

By engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept that international travel carries inherent risks and that SJU Luxe Travel's liability is limited to the advisory and planning services we directly provide. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or performance of services provided by third-party travel suppliers.

6. Travel Documentation & Client Responsibilities

It is the client's responsibility to ensure they hold valid travel documents including passports, visas, health certificates, and any other documentation required by their destination country. SJU Luxe Travel may provide general guidance on documentation requirements, but we are not responsible for denied entry or other consequences resulting from inadequate or expired travel documents.

Clients are also responsible for reviewing and understanding all travel supplier terms and conditions, checking in for flights on time, and complying with local laws and regulations at their destination.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the SJU Luxe Travel website—including text, images, graphics, logos, branding, design elements, and custom itineraries—is the intellectual property of SJU Luxe Travel and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Reproduction, distribution, or use of any content without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, United States of America. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the courts of Puerto Rico.

9. Modifications & Contact Information

SJU Luxe Travel reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically for updates.
